A likely change is coming to the documentation, as we can no longer keep up: there likely just be a continually rolling set of documentation, and it'll be as up to date as people can manage to keep it. We've asked for help many times with the docs, and there has been very little response. So, we're going to make the above changes, and if nobody can step up, they'll just get more out of sync. Luckily, the upcoming release doesn't seem to have anything too major.
