I don't think these numbers are accurate. I don't have 85K followers. I keep an eye on my account as a metric of Nostr growth. I have closer to about 10K followers according to several other sites and it's slowly been trending upwards. I'm wondering where thos discrepancy is coming from. To me, it sounds like spammers.

I definitely agree that the numbers should be scrutinized. If they are materially affected by bots/spammers, the strange thing is that the relative distribution follows smoothly all the way through to the smaller accounts. That would be a strange thing for spammers to do. They look organic to me, but I am open to other explanations.
