Scaling Proof of Work and consensus mechanisms are the way forward. It will take some time, just as it did with finance, but that's how you stop/reduce/mitigate the attacks. Don't trust, verify. #pow #wot #nostr

consensus is antithetical to the value proposition of nostr. consensus requires relays know of one another to be useful. the value of dumb relays it he ability to stand up a relay and post notes to it without any consensus requirements.
