have to be careful loading nostr in public because its all just people talking about nut, how much they want nut and how they want to nut everywhere on everything

posting this in case anyone runs into the same issue my Umbrel ☂️ node arrived yesterday and kept seemingly crashing with no real cause (temp was fine according to umbrel, usage was fine) if I turned it off, waiting 5 minutes then booted it it would get a few more minutes of syncing - I changed dbcache size

Bad idea to have just one channel on your lightning node, it introduces a single point of failure

it feels like a lot of articles on nostr are ai slop, you can tell cause its the same thing youve heard a thousand times always formatted in the same way

Nostrs going to get a lot weirder to introduce to people - "yeah so if you see an emoji ask yourself is someone trying to secretly communicate money with that emoji?"
