Don't like to toot my own horn but I am super proud of myself. When my Mom passed last October I was in a dark place. I stopped exercising and tried to eat my way through depression. It was not pretty. After a visit to my doctor for a check up I discovered that my weight had gone up, my blood pressure was sky high and my cholesterol was high as well. I knew then I had to get through this and get back on track. Now after a few months of running and a healthier diet my blood pressure is normal, cholesterol is normal, and I've dropped over 20 pounds. Still got some dad bod but I hope to have that taken care of in a few months. All in all I think I'm doing pretty well.
