I don't know what victory for them looks like, but any court loss in terms of pay/reinstatment/etc will cause businesses to jettison DEI offices like nuclear waste

Maybe I'm getting too cynical but I would not be shocked if they were going to try and keep it around with a different name or change it just enough to keep it. They're not going to sacrifice something like DEI unless they absolutely have to, and it will be done very, *very* grudgingly.

I agree with the caution, but the way I look at it is that as soon as it becomes something that is a risk, it will be a huge break on fun. Between how the courts have dealt with the gun laws and the college discrimination, my feeling is any but the largest companies will not think it is worth the... show more
