What are examples of execs keeping or breaking the promises they made at acquisition time? I'm curious how often these promises hold.
Just been thinking about this after seeing a thread about promises made by Bandcamp's founder during the Epic acquisition, which reminded me of promises made by the Oculus and WhatsApp founders when they were acquired by Facebook.
BTW, if someone offered me that much money, I'd probably take it, but I'd like to think I wouldn't make promises I couldn't keep.
