It's not just that Trump world is awash in lies, which it is. It's that they use dishonesty as a routine tactic, knowing right-wing media will amplify it (if not create it). Case in point: the Katie Britt fabrication about the Mexican drug cartel rape case. (It happened during the Bush term, not Biden's.) Listen to all of this.

Delicious Ferret And this is surprising? It’s an official party plank of the GOP that there is a “Biden migrant crime wave,” every word of which is a lie. Crime is down, broadly, and has been dropping for years. Migrants (regardless of status) are disproportionately *underrepresented* among perpetrators. Both of these have been since the Bush administration; nothing to do with immigration policy or enforcement.
