People always question if open protocols like nostr will be sustainable but never ask if the alternative centralized services are even sustainable. Twitter and Reddit are killing themselves in an attempt for profitability. Maybe open networks is the only long-term sustainable model.

Not to forget, google is literally trying to charge 25 bucks for YouTube Premium and make 4k streaming for premium only, and they are cancelling their important infrastructure business projects like google domains, and Meta and apple are going all in on VR/AR tech lol. Netflix is trying to ban
