I don't know how to explain to people that conservatives and conservatism have *nothing* to offer them. Literally no problem is solved with violence and cruelty and selfishness. It does not provide anyone with anything. They are preying on the worst, weakest parts of you — and when you fall for it, even on a singular issue, you are providing them with legitimacy. You are failing yourself. You are failing your responsibility to the world to understand why their answers are fundamentally poison.
