Defiant Lobster After my father abandoned us, our Christmas dinner was beaked beans on (stale) toast. We didn't have a great deal of money, as my mother didn't have a job and had broken both legs that summer so wasn't very mobile yet. The Rotary Club gave us some second-hand toys - not sure how that was arranged but it seemed magical at the time. Hope you can manage to cope this week, I know it's no fun on a limited budget.
