I also disliked that they talked about Trump even though I personally hate him. 2 reasons. I felt like making it clear they were anti Trump means it will be immediately dated once he is gone. The threat won't be though. I can't give it to a Trump supporter because they will just say "they just hate Trump" A book that left him out they have a much better chance of finishing.
Yeah. In particular, as I am of course not so feeble minded as to be swayed by that alone, it makes me question the depth of study on recent events of the author couldn't sus out there was disinformation at work with the Russia thing; assuming I'm correct that's it's considered largely a lie at this point. Also why I'm curious what the extended version, with 7 hours in Ukraine/russia might have though. It's from 2022. Not likely I'll delve further though
My read on the Trump Russia connection is that there isn't like an explicit pay or Manchurian candidate sort of thing. Trump is a wanna be strongman and Putin is a more established strongman so there is a bit of simping. Concerning but not an explicit corruption.
