Interesting... one of our native plants just got lumped to non-native after research showed it to be conspecific with a species from Central & South America that has "nomenclatural priority" (i.e. it was named that first) Sisyrinchium rosulatum, Annual blue-eyed grass, is now lumped with Sisyrinchium micranthum #nativeplants
