Not a very relevant xy comparison though. It would be more informafive to see the top 2/3rds of countries by population size vs birthrate. So the headline would end up being 'the top 2/3rds of the biggest countries in the world by population have a birthrate below replacement levels' for example. I suspect that's not the case as global pop is going up, but it would certaknly be more relevant.
