this shit is how i have to pay my rent. they switched to this system last month and are now forcing everyone to use it to pay their rent. they stopped letting me pay by check.
you guys dont have some law about legal tender? people here like to be assholes and pay for shit in pennies, that's what i'd do tbh

If services are rendered or goods provided already, they must accept payment if it's legal tender. I don't know how this works with rent, but I could see an argument if it's a lease. Tenant laws vary pretty broadly by state.
