When I lived in Europe, the experience was different. People were always curious and trying to figure out where I’m from—sometimes with fascination, sometimes with subtle prejudice. I was never just “white” there, but also not one specific “other. 3/7
And then there’s Morocco, where I’ve never had to explain or justify who I am. People just know I’m Moroccan. It’s not even a question. That sense of belonging is something I rarely feel anywhere else. #Moroccan #Diaspora #Home 4/7
