The ESA BepiColombo mission to Mercury will make its 6th and final flyby of Mercury on Wed Jan 8, 2025 at 05:59 UTC. Distance from Mercury's surface will be 295 km, which is much closer than the 37,630 km distance during flyby #5 on Dec 1. Since flyby 4, BepiColombo is in an orbit similar to that of Mercury.
