Saw an interesting post the other day from one of the prominent healthy eating accounts on here, a professional nutritionist and doctor no less. Anyway. They were saying how fantastic X diet was and how we should all be doing the same. OK cool... But then they were like 'I used to recommend the complete opposite'. Totally cool, we all evolve (hopefully) but at the same time, you're saying that just a few years ago you were giving completely contradictory advice... Professionally... for actual cash. U wot m8?! So say someone follows your current dietry advice and you change your mind in 5 years time because of different evidence or choice of research followed etc. Well why the hell are you giving professional advice? Obviously no one should blindly follow anyone, goes without saying. The moral of the story? Don't look to me for moral guidance, I haven't got a clue lol. But also, stay critical. Some folks are grifting for sure. Reminds me when I used to teach people how to make records at a university.... I didn't have a clue to be honest but they said they'd give me some money to chat shit and I took it. Now I actually help make records for real, all be it for way less money but I do feel sorry for all the people who listened to me essentially bullshit my way through a job for a number of years. So that said, I'm now following this guy for dietary advice, seems as good as anyone... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michel_Lotito

These health ‘experts’ act like diets are one size fits all 🤦‍♂️ way too many variations to even comprehend for this to be the case
