I don't really understand where this fear is coming from honestly. Maybe from films, idk. If AI is left to evolve into the image of its creator then then it is naturally doomed. I also don't know much about it to make a valid argument. As I get older, I'm inclined to live a much simpler life. I don't see AI being a part of it.
