The protocol is a better alternative to web3. That's just what I see atm. Web3 I'm tired of hearing about because it's shit coin paradise. Bridging with lightning keeps the wallet issues where they belong and keeps the issues separated allowing focus where it deserves to be. I'm also biased against web3 because most of it revolved around eth for a while. This is the right combo to me.
