People still debating if Trump will Free Ross Ulbricht
Here’s my take: From what [limited] research I did, I believe the only president to issue a pardon or commute a sentence on day one was Jimmy Carter to Vietnam War draft evaders.
Happy to be proven wrong on this. He may free Ross, I’m highly skeptical it would be day 1.
That's my expectation, as well.
However, it's such an easy campaign promise to keep. Why not just do it?
