LinkedIn is now asking users to verify their identity with CLEAR to get more profile views. I appreciate their need to prevent impersonation and fraud, but CLEAR feels to me like a whole other level of surveillance beyond "we can use your work email address to verify your identity." And because of the connection to TSA, it feels creepily state-adjacent.
