You can do this with ZEUS today.

Another thought, opening LN channels directly from cold storage would be cool if one wallet rules them all. Would save a transaction having to go from cold to node before opening.

Trying to do this but getting stuck and get this message after selecting the UTXO from cold storage and pressing ‘open channel’

You need to install the LND cert on your device and enable Cert verification under the wallet connection settings

Appreciate, worked it out. One last thing, when I scan the PSBT it just says ‘cannot make it fit’ and crashes. Appreciate any help.

Hmm, looks like this error is from our BBQr decoder code but to our knowledge Seedsigner only supports bc-ur format. If you’re able to, it would be helpful if you filed an issue on the ZEUS repo for further investigation github.com/ZeusLN/zeus/issues

Yeah, it was BC-ur, seedsigner correctly says it doesn’t support BBQr yet if you try to scan it. I’ll file an issue when I have a minute of course, appreciate the assistance.
