Pouakai Tarns | Ruahumoko (named for their protective kaitaki | gaurdian ancestor) where used by Māori tohunga | gifted for spiritual cleansing & scrying; when the breeze stilled, we also saw things in the water from our lunch spot (📷2&3)!
