Housing is mostly a liability. It is abused to get you in to debt. You factually never own it as you pay taxes and by law they can confiscate it. They abused the system so it became a saving account for many, which clearly doesn't work for long. It is an anchor for most to stay put. All to achieve you work your whole life, are too busy to think and actually move to a better jurisdiction/life.
