Enthusiastic Peacock There is also a potential blocker for hobbyist since they like the open source model for pet projects or clients with tiny budgets. So craft is no option for them currently.
They start by using 1-click WP installers in their webhosters dashboard - and start their project from there. And pay like 2-7€ for unlimited WP sites. Not the target group of craft currently - but these are people how could form a wider community 🤷 I personally had a hard time with this as well. 3/3

Enthusiastic Peacock I personally had a hard time with this as well - since I invest a lot of my personal time into demos & learning resources 👉 doing this for an open source community just feels "more justified" / better. 🤷
But I know this discussion from #KirbyCMS as well - it is required for financial sustainibility.
Wish there would be some middleground, because people motivated by the idea of "open source (communities)" will not easily switch to Kirby, Craft, etc. because of that 4/4
