Fat Angelfish I don't see the point of Protonmail unless all your email is going to only others Protomail users. E-Mail is insecure by default, if you send it to to anyone else off Protonmail then it can be picked up. Either way, the security services probably have a way to look at Protonmail stuff. E-mail is not secure, ever.

Frightened Lynx True enough, though I do have a small group of closely trusted people who also use protonmail. Betwixt us, email can be somewhat secure. (This use case does not fit all, of course.) I can also send encrypted (req. password) to anyone. They get a notification in via email, but they don't get the message. They have to come to protonmail.com to enter pw & view message. Who U mean by "security services"? 'Cuz I'm pretty sure they do not have a way to snoop into protonmail.
