justaconcernedfather, have these issues been occurring since you installed Damus, or have they only started after a certain time?
If the issue has been there since you installed Damus, then I believe you ran into a known issue with one of our past Damus versions. In that case, you can fix these problems by going to Settings > First Aid > Reset Contact list.
