Dad guizzy I know flashing drives was popular early in the 360's life. I never flashed mine since i didn´t want to risk a console ban. Sadly flashing the drives doesn´t bypass region locking so you can´t play japan region james on flashed drives. RGH/JTAG lets you bypass the region protection which is very useful since there's a lot of awesome shmups on the 360 that are sadly locked to Japan only releases.
