Spot on observation! Whilst there are a ton of reasons for this phenomenon, we are looking at the results of many decades of indoctrination and cultural homogenisation through the media as well as the education system. In a sense Nostr is to social media, what #bitcoin is to money and the pic below explains a lot.
Are there still places with vibes anymore? Or did the internet kind of kill it?
I feel like digital spaces have vibes. Nostr has a vibe for sure, but everywhere I go (in America at least) feels flat, steril and homogenous now.
