Joyous Ferret tell me they are not plastic these days. I still have scars from some of my childhood toys made of that nice beefy metal.

Salty Jay These re-issues are usually plastic. I have a few re-issues that they DID use metal to make but then they started to cheap-out and went all plastic again for later re-issues.
