I have what's called a "smart" toaster oven, but it doesn't mean it's connected to the internet. It means it adjusts itself depending on what you are toasting, baking, warming in it. And I agree about the coffeemakers, the timers have been around for quite a while, but lying in bed and turning on the coffeemaker? Sounds like a recipe for depression and dementia.
