Soft Leopard Basically, I have 62gb ram I am actually using 26gb of ram, so I have 36gb available But there is 37gb in cache (26+37=63?) so the actual free amount is only 992mb (???? 64?). Now, normally, this would not be a problem. That 37gb would just get dumped whenever it's needed. But kswapd is chewing up 99% of my cpu looking for swap space that doesn't exist to dump it into.
