audiophiles have zero interest in either music or sound quality - only in signaling that they are very sophisticated, rich and have golden ears ( they are all deaf ) most Audiophiles are old Jews who need hearing aid but LARP about being able to hear the difference between different grades of silver used in a 120V power cable. the two kinds of people Audiophiles hate the most are: 1 - people who understand physics 2 - people who have decent hearing it's nothing more than a circle jerk for rich old Jews i must imagine everything else like Wine Tasting is probably the same but i have no direct experience with that
