Good question, it pays for its own electricity basically. It’s around 17 watts, I figure it cost around .4 KWH a day. and mining to brains pool is yielding me about 64 sats a day. But most people just solo mine with them as lottery tickets and get the mining education and help decentralize mining. The cool thing is the open source aspect. If you want, you can assemble it yourself, you can upload the manufacturing files and have the PCBs made and then source the parts. I haven’t gone that far, but who knows, I tend to get carried away. I bought 1 Gamma so far and have (2) more coming to solo mine to public pool.

Try mining on ocean, you can receive payments via lightning on your own node or a BOLT12 compatible wallet, such as coinos.
Thanks to DATUM I am getting about 80-90 sats per day.
