libertarianism is actually compatible with socialism, communism, capitalism, and fascism, the single restriction being that those systems are organized voluntarily. You can have communism in a libertarian society, it’s called a commune, but if it turns out that the system doesn’t scale or doesn’t produce, you can’t make the rest of the world your slaves to “make it work.” Libertarianism isn’t a prescription about *how* to organize. It’s a framework to allow us to organize in as many ways as possible so we can endlessly discover and refine the concept of organization itself. It *only* requires that you treat everyone around you as a free human with self ownership, and not your slave.
