I finally got a PowerPC-based PC for the collection! It's a Motorola Net6200/166, a PReP system part of the PowerStack II family with dual 166 MHz PowerPC 604e CPUs. I need to find the proper RAM and replace the clock/NVRAM chip, but it at least boots enough to give a "please install memory" chime. Once it is up and running, I am going to document as much as I can about the machine since there is very little information about this model surviving online. #retrocomputing #powerpc #motorola
