We continue to understand the work model of the industrial revolution and do not see the coming revolution in productivity in the information age. The romantic idea that artificial intelligence will collaborate with humans strikes me as naïve. We are witnessing not only the automation of tasks, but the emergence of an autonomous functional intelligence that challenges our traditional conceptions of work and creativity. Artificial Intelligence is evolving very fast, and instead of complementing, AI replaces human work: it works faster, error-free and learns on its own. What’s most fascinating is that, for the first time, intelligence—once considered an exclusively human trait—can now be 'rented' as a service. The promise of a balanced alliance between humans and machines is ridiculed in the face of a reality in which productivity no longer depends on human intervention. When an AI can do in days what it takes a professional months to do, talk of collaboration seems naïve. It is not a tool that improves our work, but a technology that makes it unnecessary. So what’s the point of talking about collaboration between humans and machines? When AI vastly outperforms any human team in productivity, consistency, analytical power, and even creativity, “collaboration” starts to sound outdated. We’re not just witnessing the end of certain jobs — we’re facing the end of human work as we once knew it. This is not an evolution of work; it is a revolution that redefines productivity and efficiency, where human labor will became obsolete. #tags: LiberLion Article; AI
