I didn't use Nostr for a long time because I didn't have a working VPN for a while. I am not comfortable with Nostr servers seeing my IP address so I simply did not open the app until I got VPN working again. Truly decentralized apps like Nostr and Keet are excellent. They would be perfect if they made third party relaying a lot more automatic.
