I can't recommend #lightning personally. Huge faff to run your own node, and too easy to take the path of lesser resistance into high fees and lack of privacy with, say, Phoenix. I so want to like it, but it's got a long, long way to go to offer the privacy, convenience, and dirt cheap fees of #Monero.
