What's sad is I've recomended your client to a lot of folks and from what I can tell the only way to get a private closed group to work is by running you own relay for it. This is the option that appears when creating a group. Private groups are encrypted, while open/closed groups are not encrypted. However, with closed groups, only group members can pull messages.
