Here's SoLo the fox cub out in the garden. She's growing up quickly and getting into scrapes, as all foxes do. We've noticed a tear in her right flank (possibly a bite or a rip). The little cub is growing bolder by the day. We've named her 'SoLo' as she is the only surviving cub, and I'm pretty sure she's female (I've been wrong before so I'm out on a limb with that one as young cubs are tricky). Herring gulls are nesting on a neighbouring roof and every now and then drop down into our garden for a drink (we keep a water bowl topped up for the local wildlife). Our little fox cub is becoming quite bold and inquisitive. There's just the one cub (at least one other didn't survive), but this one is doing fine and growing up fast.
