If someone is left in the transport buffer and you turn it off, they disappear, right? What happens to their matter/energy? What about the 1st law of thermodynamics? Thinking about this in the context of "why don't they beam up the Omega particle and purge the buffer?"

Working on mixing/editing a concert tape from Aug today. I'm still in the first phases of the process -- digitized tapes 1 & 2 out of 5, but I'm really digging this workflow of recording to tape and editing in Reaper. Tonight will be my ninth consecutive night going to bed with fatigue 10/10. On the plus side, I am actually starting to gain ground. The other days were only 10 because that's the top of my scale. One of my favorite things about Mastodon continues to be the "translate" button. It's not always perfect, but I can always at least get a sense of what the author is trying to communicate.
