🏃‍♂️ We ran for Hal Finney — as a side event at BTC Prague 2025 — to support ALS research and honor a true legend of Bitcoin. Hal was one of Bitcoin’s earliest developers and the first person to receive a transaction from Satoshi. He continued coding even after his ALS diagnosis—a disease that slox.com/halfin/status/1110302988 Run for Hal at BTC Prague was a live 5 km run/walk through Prague’s Old Town. While Run for Hal events are also held virtually around the world, this one brought the community together in person, with donations accepted—including in Bitcoin—all going to ALS research .
