they don't? no, i think there is at least ways to use a signer like #citrine tho, never tried though. that's the main thing you need

Yes every device they found will receive Alice's note, and so on. They can also broadcast it to the internet once the connection is back either manually with #amethyst or automatically with #citrine (WIP)

Nostr relays are highly decentralized because we have negentropy and outbox models. That means its easier to cover the running costs, for every relay that isn't especially large and overrun with users. You can't actually see most relays, as they're just little apps running on people's cell phones... show more

GM. Yeah, we decided to tie specific relays from independent operators into our clients, as defaults. Users pay us and we pay the operators. If someone wants a custom instance of #Alexandria, our suppliers help them get their custom relay setup, and they then also pay the suppliers. That way we... show more

I don't assume that, I concur, themajority don't. I merely say it as a solution. If only a small percentage run relays/nodes, the network survives. Regarding #nostr though, if most relays die (or are compromised) then those that wish to be free will have to run one. #Citrine runs on your... show more

I noticed that Citrine is displaying the following as its address: ws://127.0.0.1:4869 Notice that it's not WSS, but rather WS. When I try to copy this over into my Android apps, I'm getting errors saying that it's not a valid relay address. I've changed it over to WSS, and that seems to work... show more
