I've just released the first version of GitPlaza, a GitHub alternative built on Nostr. It's written in Rust, uses Iced for the GUI and rust-nostr for nostr stuff.
Current features:

I'll try and facilitate and help organise some collaborative working on #GitViaNostr projects. I'll arrange a dev call next week. Let me know if your interested. Thank you to those who have already contributed / expressed interest, I'll be in touch.

I'm not suggesting that support shouldnt be added to git for signing commits with nostr keys. It just seems there is a lower value proposition on focusing on that right now compared to the other #GitViaNostr tasks

I'm not sure you quite understand it. There is no change to the nip05 spec. Git supports operating over other protocols and the chosen protocol is set in the remote URL using `protocol://` therefore we can't use the standard nostr andressing using `nostr:`. the work Arjen has started in CI pipelines via DVMs are an important of #GitViaNostr. without it, many projects wont consider #GitViaNostr a viable alternative.
Fedora are moving git servers from self-hosted Pagure to self-hosted Forgejo. Nostr will emerge as the obvious collaboration solution for open-source projects like this when #GitViaNostr matures.
